At Can Gavarres, we intentionally welcome a limited number of travelers: never more than 6 to 8 people in the villa, depending on the bookings.

This choice preserves what is important to us: peace and quiet, space, a friendly atmosphere, and high-quality service. No overcrowded pool, noisy breakfast room, or impersonal common areas.

Nestled in a verdant setting, between olive trees and umbrella pines, the house enjoys a secluded and private environment. The garden is meticulously maintained by our gardener, and the swimming pool is cleaned weekly to ensure a pleasant stay.

Your stay, your freedom

You are free to come and go as you please. You organize your days, excursions and evenings without the constraints of a hotel's operations.

Your host is usually away during the day, but remains reachable at any time should you need anything. This allows you to enjoy your independence while knowing that a caring person is available to assist you.

Can Gavarres is a completely non-smoking house, designed to preserve the comfort and tranquility of all.

Here, you are not confined to your room.

You can freely settle into the various relaxation areas: the outdoor lounges, the comfortable Hawaiian lounges, the shaded terrace, the veranda or simply the sofa in the living room.

Everyone has their favorite place: a book in hand in the library, a coffee in the shade, a conversation with friends or a quiet break after a day at the beach.

Each room has its own air conditioning to guarantee your comfort, even during the beautiful summer days.

A shared refrigerator is also available for you to store your drinks and find a nice cold bottle when you return from the beach or your excursions.

You might discover some traces of this family life: modeling clay from the youngest children on the living room table, some building blocks on the floor, a cocktail placed on a shelf, some biscuits prepared for afternoon tea… and your host busy in the kitchen preparing the cake for tomorrow’s breakfast!

We are neither a luxury hotel nor a hotel residence. We are a human-scale guesthouse, with its shared spaces, small or large, its independent operation and its own unique charm.

Here, there are no individual minibars, but a shared refrigerator to keep your drinks cold, and filtered water is available. There's no room service, but a welcoming home where you're free to live at your own pace.

We prefer conviviality to protocol, sincere attention to standardized services, and the pleasure of hosting to the artifice of great luxury.

• A gourmet breakfast.
• A light cleaning of your room every 3 days.
• Change the pads every 3 days.
• Free access to the lounge, library, lounges, veranda and swimming pool.
• Individual air conditioning in each bedroom, and in the living areas inside.
• A shared refrigerator is available with bottles of filtered water that are replaced daily!
• A host available during your stay, present in the morning and evening to browse ideas and maps of the Costa Brava together!
• Private rooms (with keys) with direct access to the pool or garden view!
• A welcome after 4pm, in the absence of your host, the KEYBOX is available outside the villa.
• Late arrival, traffic jams on the road? The KEYBOX will give you access to the villa via the automatic gate, and the key to your room!

How our guesthouse works:
