Whether you travel by roadster, trail, GT, sports car, custom car or bicycle, you will find with us a welcome adapted to your way of traveling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A stop designed for two-wheeled travelers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A road trip also involves stops, clothes to refresh, some things to dry and sometimes the need to do laundry before hitting the road again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Costa Brava: a fantastic playground for motorcyclists<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Santa Cristina d'Aro enjoys a particularly interesting location for discovering the most beautiful roads in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The legendary route: Tossa de Mar \u2013 Sant Feliu de Gu\u00edxols<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is probably one of the most attractive routes on the Costa Brava for motorcycle enthusiasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GI-682 winds its way between Tossa de Mar and Sant Feliu de Gu\u00edxols, with a succession of bends, passages through pine forests and superb openings onto the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A route to savor at a leisurely pace, taking the time to stop at viewpoints and discover small coves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. The hinterland: Llagostera, Romany\u00e0 de la Selva and the small roads of Gavarres<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For those who prefer quieter roads, the hinterland holds some very pleasant surprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaving Santa Cristina d'Aro, you can reach Llagostera, discover Romany\u00e0 de la Selva and continue along the small roads that cross the wooded landscapes of the Gavarres massif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another side of Catalonia, more rural, more intimate, with its masias, stone villages and Mediterranean landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Empord\u00e0: Medieval villages and scenic routes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Going north, discover Calonge, Palam\u00f3s, Palafrugell, Begur, Pals and Peratallada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The roads alternate between countryside, vineyards, medieval villages and small coastal sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A great opportunity to enjoy a gourmet break, explore local markets or sit down on a terrace for lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Girona and the inland roads<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Girona is well worth a visit. Its historic center, medieval streets and terraces make it a pleasant stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To extend the ride, you can continue towards Banyoles, Besal\u00fa or La Garrotxa, with its volcanic landscapes and hilly roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motorcyclists with more time can even organize a day trip to Olot, Camprodon and the first major passes of the Pyrenees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catalonia is a land of gastronomy. And around Santa Cristina d'Aro, there is no shortage of good restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearby you will find traditional Catalan restaurants, grills, Mediterranean restaurants, fish and seafood, as well as some lovely places to extend the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Santa Cristina d'Aro and the surrounding area, several establishments offer the opportunity to discover local cuisine. Sant Feliu de Gu\u00edxols and Platja d'Aro also offer a wider selection of seaside dining options or lively evenings out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be happy to share our favorite places and advise you according to your preferences: Catalan cuisine, fish, tapas, grilled meats or a more gourmet restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An ideal location for reaching the Costa Brava<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Can Gavarres is located near several major cities and transport routes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Girona: approximately 20 km.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perpignan: approximately 125 km.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Barcelona: approximately 100 to 110 km.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The house is therefore a great stopover for motorcyclists crossing Catalonia, joining Spain from France or wishing to spend several days exploring the Costa Brava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And what about after the road?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    People don't come to Can Gavarres just to sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We enjoy the pool, the outdoor lounges, the shaded terrace and the veranda. We share a drink, exchange impressions of the day's routes and are already planning the next outing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the morning, a good breakfast allows you to hit the road in the best conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
